So as some of you may have noticed, there have been some changes happening here at Jacqueline Dallimore photography! One of the biggest, besides my blog and website changing, is that I have made the transition over to Fine Art Wedding Photography. What does this mean, you may ask! This means that I have chosen to favor a more natural and more medium format film look for my photography. It means a lot of gorgeous natural lit images featuring natural simple environments and as always, fabulous couples!
For a long time I had been gravitating and falling in love with beautiful bright medium format film images so I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise to me that I began dabbling in film photography myself! I can’t tell you what a huge change this has made for me and my photography! Film forces you to stop, slow down, and think very carefully before pressing the shutter. And the results are just incredible – I am so in love! There’s no other words to explain it! For now, I will be shooting digital primarily and film as an extra as I try to develop a new workflow to accommodate the film in various situations. Anyway, I hope this clears up some of the confusion as to why things have evolved the way that they have and I’m so thrilled to be taking this step!
